“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10
Parish Stewardship
What is “stewardship”?
Stewardship is based on the spiritual principles of the Old Testament and the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels. It’s a way of life and a way of thanking God for all His blessings by returning a portion of the Time, Talent and Treasure that were allotted to us.
Stewardship is central to Blessed Sacrament Church and all parishes, as the volunteer efforts of members drives both our church ministries and define our community of faith. Your contributions are also our primary source of income and are crucial in keeping the parish solvent and thriving.
As you reflect upon the abundance God has given you, how might you generously share that abundance with your Parish community? We invite you to discern how to actively participate in worship, and how to provide service to others.
Time. Talent. Treasure.
Your contributions of Talent can be identified in the Talent Commitment Form. The future of Blessed Sacrament Church depends on your gift of Treasure. Your donations keep our lights on, heat our church, and keep the grass cut and sidewalks plowed. It’s what we use to fund our growing maintenance and repair budget, and it’s how we sustain the vibrant ministries that serve you and your family.
How much should I contribute?
When you know in your heart that you have been completely honest with yourself and with God, then your contribution is the right amount to give.
The best way to contribute to Blessed Sacrament is through online giving. It’s a simple, safe, and convenient way to set up automatic recurring donations to our parish.
You can donate by visiting the Donate page in the top menu. Or you can fill out the Treasure Commitment Form for automatic transfers from your credit or debit card, or bank account.
Heartfelt thanks.
Truly, we would not be able to do all that we do——or do what needs to be done——without everyone’s gifts of Time, Talent, and Treasure. We truly thank you for you continued generosity to our parish.
